NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: FISHERIES OFF WEST COAST STATES; COASTAL PELAGIC SPECIES FISHERIES; AMENDMENT 23 TO THE COASTAL PELAGIC SPECIES FISHERY MANAGEMENT PLAN

WASHINGTON, June 3 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries Off West Coast States; Coastal Pelagic Species Fisheries; Amendment 23 to the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on June 3 by Samuel D. Rauch III, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: On May 30, 2025, the Regional Administrator of the West Coast Region, NMFS, with the concurrence of the Assistant Administrator for Fisheries, approved Amendment 23 to the Coastal Pelagic Species (CPS) Fishery Management Plan (FMP).
