WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries of the Northeastern United States; Summer Flounder Fishery; Quota Transfer From Massachusetts to Rhode Island.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 29 by Kelly Denit, Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.
Summary: NMFS announces that the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is transferring a portion of its 2025 commercial summer flounder quota to the State of Rhode Island.
