WASHINGTON, March 31 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries of the Exclusive Economic Zone Off Alaska; Reallocation of Pollock in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on March 31 by Karen H. Abrams, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: NMFS is reallocating the projected unused amounts of the Aleut Corporation and the Community Development Quota (CDQ) pollock directed fishing allowances (DFA) from the Aleutian Islands subarea to the Bering Sea subarea.
