NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: FISHERIES OF THE EXCLUSIVE ECONOMIC ZONE OFF ALASKA; POLLOCK IN STATISTICAL AREA 620 IN THE GULF OF ALASKA

WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Fisheries of the Exclusive Economic Zone Off Alaska; Pollock in Statistical Area 620 in the Gulf of Alaska.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Oct. 28 by Samuel D. Rauch, Deputy Assistant Administrator for Regulatory Programs, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: NMFS is prohibiting directed fishing for pollock in Statistical Area 620 in the Gulf of Alaska (GOA). This action is necessary to prevent exceeding the annual 2025 total allowable catch of pollock in Statistical Area 620 in the GOA.
