NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES RULE: DEEP SEABED MINING: REVISIONS TO REGULATIONS FOR EXPLORATION LICENSE AND COMMERCIAL RECOVERY PERMIT APPLICATIONS

WASHINGTON, Jan. 21 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a rule called: Deep Seabed Mining: Revisions to Regulations for Exploration License and Commercial Recovery Permit Applications.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on Jan. 21 by Neil A. Jacobs, Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and NOAA Administrator, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
