WASHINGTON, March 12 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Fisheries Off West Coast States; Coastal Pelagic Species Fisheries; Amendment 23 to the Coastal Pelagic Species Fishery Management Plan.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 12 by Karen H. Abrams, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.

Summary: The Pacific Fishery Management Council has submitted Amendment 23 to the Coastal Pelagic Species (CPS) Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for review by the Secretary of Commerce.
