NATIONAL OCEANIC AND ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: FISHERIES OF THE NORTHEASTERN UNITED STATES; AMENDMENT 25 TO THE NORTHEAST MULTISPECIES FISHERY MANAGEMENT PLAN; ATLANTIC COD STOCKS IN NEED OF CONSERVATION AND MANAGEMENT

WASHINGTON, March 5 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Fisheries of the Northeastern United States; Amendment 25 to the Northeast Multispecies Fishery Management Plan; Atlantic Cod Stocks in Need of Conservation and Management.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on March 5 by Karen H. Abrams, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.
