WASHINGTON, Dec. 29 -- National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a proposed rule called: Fisheries of the Northeastern United States; Amendment 21 to the Atlantic Surfclam and Ocean Quahog Fishery Management Plan.
The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Dec. 29 by Michael P. Ruccio, Acting Director, Office of Sustainable Fisheries, National Marine Fisheries Service.
Summary: NMFS announces that the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council has submitted Amendment 21 to the Atlantic Surfclam and Ocean Quahog Fishery Management Plan for review and approval by the Secretary of Commerce.
