Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego, alongside Representatives Greg Stanton (D-AZ-04), Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ-03) and Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ-07), responded to a new report (https://www.kelly.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/jec-state-inflation-costs-fact-sheet.pdf) from the Joint Economic Committee finding that Arizona families paid an average of $1,569 more in 2025 due to inflation during President Trump's first year in office. The JEC analysis shows that inflation drove up costs across essential household expenses, including $188 more for housing and $251 more for transportation for the average Arizona household.
