WASHINGTON, Aug. 5 -- Fish and Wildlife Service has issued a proposed rule called: Endangered and Threatened Wildlife and Plants; Removal of Virginia Sneezeweed From the List of Endangered and Threatened Plants.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 5 by Justin Shirley, Principal Deputy Director U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Summary: We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), propose to remove Virginia sneezeweed ( Helenium virginicum) from the Federal List of Endangered and Threatened Plants.
