WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation has issued a proposed rule called: FDIC Official Signs, Advertisement of Membership, False Advertising, Misrepresentation of Insured Status, and Misuse of the FDIC's Name or Logo.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 21 by Jennifer M. Jones, Deputy Executive Secretary.
