DEPARTMENT OF STATE ISSUES NOTICE: NOTICE OF RECEIPT OF REQUEST FROM THE GOVERNMENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CAMEROON UNDER ARTICLE 9 OF THE 1970 UNESCO CONVENTION ON THE MEANS OF PROHIBITING AND PREVENTING THE ILLICIT IMPORT, EXPORT AND TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF CULTURAL PROPERTY

WASHINGTON, Aug. 7 -- Department Of State has issued a notice called: Notice of Receipt of Request from the Government of the Republic of Cameroon Under Article 9 of the 1970 UNESCO Convention on the Means of Prohibiting and Preventing the Illicit Import, Export and Transfer of Ownership of Cultural Property.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 7 by Virginia R. Herrmann, Alternate Designated Federal Officer, Cultural Property Advisory Committee, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Department of State.
