DEPARTMENT OF STATE ISSUES NOTICE: LIST OF PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES AND ENTITIES IN THE KIMBERLEY PROCESS CERTIFICATION SCHEME, KNOWN AS "PARTICIPANTS" FOR THE PURPOSES OF THE CLEAN DIAMOND TRADE ACT OF 2003

WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Department Of State has issued a notice called: List of Participating Countries and Entities in the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme, Known as "Participants" for the Purposes of the Clean Diamond Trade Act of 2003.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on March 6 by Amy E. Holman, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, Department of State.

Summary: The Department of State is updating the list of Participants eligible for trade in rough diamonds under the Act, and their respective Importing and Exporting Authorities, revising the previously published list of April 6, 2022, to reflect the addition of Uzbekistan as a Participant.
