DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY ISSUES RULE: RESCINDING REGULATIONS RELATED TO NONDISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF SEX IN EDUCATION PROGRAMS OR ACTIVITIES RECEIVING FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

WASHINGTON, May 16 -- Department Of Energy has issued a rule called: Rescinding Regulations Related to Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Sex in Education Programs or Activities Receiving Federal Financial Assistance.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on May 16 by Jennifer Hartzell, Alternate Federal Register Liaison Officer, U.S. Department of Energy.

Summary: This final rule rescinds certain unnecessary regulatory provisions related to nondiscrimination on the basis of sex in education programs or activities receiving federal financial assistance.
