Today, Congresswoman Norma Torres, a member of the House Appropriations Committee that oversees federal spending, announced she successfully secured $10,722,000 for eight critical public safety, water infrastructure, and flood control projects across the Inland Empire as part of the fiscal year 2026 appropriations process. These Community Project Funding requests (CPFs) were included in H.R. 6938, the Commerce, Justice, Science; Energy and Water Development; and Interior and Environment Appropriations Act, 2026, which passed the House by a vote of 397 - 28 and now moves to the Senate.
