COAST GUARD ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: SPECIAL LOCAL REGULATION; 100TH ANNUAL PONY SWIM, CHINCOTEAGUE INLET AND SURROUNDING WATERS, SECTOR VIRGINIA CAPTAIN OF THE PORT ZONE

WASHINGTON, June 16 -- Coast Guard has issued a proposed rule called: Special Local Regulation; 100th Annual Pony Swim, Chincoteague Inlet and Surrounding Waters, Sector Virginia Captain of the Port Zone.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 16 by Peggy M. Britton, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard, Captain of the Port Sector Virginia.

Summary: The Coast Guard is proposing to establish a temporary Special Local Regulation on the waters around Assateague, Chincoteague, and Wallops Islands.
