BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT ISSUES RULE: RESCISSION OF REGULATIONS REGARDING THE DISPOSAL OF RESERVED MINERALS UNDER THE STOCKRAISING HOMESTEAD ACT

WASHINGTON, July 17 -- Bureau of Land Management has issued a rule called: Rescission of Regulations Regarding the Disposal of Reserved Minerals Under the Stockraising Homestead Act.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on July 17 by Adam G. Suess, Acting Assistant Secretary, Land Minerals Management.

Summary: This direct final rule rescinds a portion of the Bureau of Land Management's (BLM) regulations pertaining to mineral reservation in patent; conditions to be noted on mineral applications.
