WASHINGTON, June 27 -- Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has issued a notice called: Notice of Availability of an Environmental Assessment for Field Release of Aceria salsolae (Acari: Eriophyidae), a Mite for Biological Control of Russian Thistle (Salsola tragus), in the Contiguous United States.

The notice was published in the Federal Register on June 27 by Michael Watson, Administrator, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.
