India, Feb. 6 -- Vietjet reported that it has acquired two more aircraft through a wet-lease agreement to meet the increased travel demand during the Lunar New Year holiday. This brings the total number of wet-leased planes in their fleet to six, in addition to their existing fleet of 105 aircraft. Vietjet operates on 125 routes within Vietnam and internationally.

Vietjet has expanded its flight offerings with close to 750 additional flights, resulting in an extra 154,800 seats to meet the growing demand for travel during the peak period in Vietnam and the surrounding region.
