US, Jan. 22 -- FITUR Madrid once again confirmed its status as the world's most influential tourism marketplace with a headline-making announcement: Puerto Rico will serve as Partner Country for FITUR 2027, placing the Caribbean destination at the centre of the global tourism conversation.

The designation was unveiled at the Puerto Rico stand by Daniel Martinez, Executive Vice President of IFEMA MADRID, alongside Jennifer Gonzalez Colon, Governor of Puerto Rico. The announcement was attended by senior tourism leaders including Willianette Robles Cancel, Executive Director of the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, Jorge L.
