Guwahati, Sept. 20 -- The post-mortem of singer and cultural icon Zubeen Garg has been completed in Singapore, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said this morning.
In a post on X, Sarma informed that Garg's mortal remains were being handed over to the accompanying team - Shri Shekar Jothi Goswami, Shri Sandeepan Garg, and Shri Siddharth Sharma (Manager) - in the presence of officers from the Indian Embassy.
The Chief Minister had earlier stated that the body would be flown from Singapore to Delhi and then to Guwahati, where it is likely to arrive this evening.
