New Delhi, March 3 -- Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has confirmed that the Zimbabwe senior men's team remained safe in India after their campaign in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026, with travel disruptions delaying their return home.
In a statement on Monday, Zimbabwe Cricket said, "The International Cricket Council (ICC) has activated contingency measures and is working with international carriers to secure alternative travel arrangements for the team."ZC added that it remains in constant communication with the ICC and team management in India to ensure the players and support staff return home safely and at the earliest.
"Further updates are expected once revised travel plans are finalised," the statement noted.
