Dehra (Kangra), Feb. 3 -- Under the Chief Minister's flagship "Drug-Free Himachal Campaign," the Dehra district police have intensified a sustained, result-oriented crackdown on drug abuse and trafficking, adopting a strict zero-tolerance policy.
Dehra Police district superintendent of police Mayank Choudhary told UNI that, continuing last year's successes under the NDPS Act, Dehra police registered eight cases in January alone.
Of these, three cases involved 202 grams of charas, while five cases led to the seizure of 38.25 grams of heroin (chitta) and 32 intoxicating capsules.
