Dharamshala, Dec. 11 -- Deputy Commissioner Hemraj Bairwa on Thursday participated as the chief guest in an Anti-Chitta awareness programme organised at Tangeroti Khas village under the Dharamshala development block. A large number of villagers, youth, and panchayat representatives attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner said that drug abuse is a serious threat that weakens society from within, and combating it requires the collective participation of every individual in tandem with the administration. He expressed concern over the rising risk of highly dangerous synthetic drugs like "chitta" reaching school-going children.
