Lucknow, Sept. 17 -- A 24-year-old youth was shot, allegedly over a land and monetary dispute, in the Gudamba area of the state capital, Lucknow, police sources said here today.
According to police, the incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. last night when a call was received via Dial 112, reporting that Asif Ghazi, a resident of Vivekanand Puram, Kalyanpur (under Gudamba police station), had been shot by an unidentified person.
Police, senior officers, and a forensic team immediately reached the spot to investigate. "It was found that there was a dispute over land and money transactions, during which Asif Ghazi was shot in his left shoulder.
