Dharamshala, Feb. 22 -- The Panchrukhi Police Station has registered a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after recovering suspected heroin from a youth in Kangra district on Saturday.

Kangra district superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI that on February 21, a police team recovered 0.99 grams of chitta (heroin) from Shubham, a resident of village Chaluhi, Post Office Rakkar, Tehsil Baijnath in Kangra district.

SSP said that the recovery was made near the Machhiyal Bridge at Vyada.
