Hyderabad, March 19 -- Tension prevailed in LB Nagar on Thursday as Youth Congress State President Jakkidi Shiva Charan Reddy was arrested during a protest linked to the party's 'Drugs Test White Challenge'.
Responding to a call given by the Youth Congress state leadership, Congress leaders gathered at the Ambedkar statue junction in LB Nagar, expressing readiness to undergo drug testing as part of the campaign.
Addressing the gathering, Shiva Charan Reddy alleged that LB Nagar MLA Sudheer Reddy attempted to disrupt the programme and accused BRS leaders of creating disturbances to divert attention from the issue.
