Varanasi, March 29 -- A young man attempted to open the door of an Indigo aircraft arriving from Bengaluru to Varanasi here on Saturday night.
Crew members immediately restrained him. The pilot reported the incident to Air Traffic Control (ATC). After questioning by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), the youth was handed over to the Phoolpur police.
The accused youth, identified as Mohammad Adnan, hails from the Mau district. Indigo Flight 6E-185 had departed from Bengaluru at 8:00 PM. It is reported that Adnan had attempted to open the door once earlier, shortly after the journey began. Crew members had managed to calm him down and persuade him to return to his seat.
