Hazaribagh, March 2 -- Police have solved the case relating to the recovery of a body from a well in the Barabazar OP area last week and arrested a 23-year-old youth on charges of murder, an official release stated on Monday.
The release issued by the Superintendent of Police's office, Hazaribagh. stated that the body was recovered on February 25 at around 9:30 am from a well located in Paswan Mohalla in Hurhuru locality and the deceased was identified as Sikendra Kumar alias Lalu Gop. On the basis of a written complaint lodged by the victim's brother, Sanjay Kumar, a case was registered.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) arrested Pratap Kumar Das alias Chhotu (23), son of Ramkumar Das, a resident of Hurhuru Paswan Mohalla.
