Lucknow, Feb. 8 -- The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is taking concrete steps to strengthen tourism infrastructure in the small cities, besides giving a new identity to religious, cultural and eco-tourism in the state, officials said on Sunday.
In the last few years, the number of tourists coming from various parts of India and abroad to the major tourism destinations in the state, such as Kashi, Mathura, Agra, Ayodhya and Prayagraj, has increased significantly.
Keeping this in view, the Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC) is constructing Raahi Tourist Lodges in various districts.
