Chennai, Aug. 23 -- Yashwin Krishnakumar of USA and Diya Ramesh of India annexeed the Boy's and GirlsSingles titles respectively in the Unifi-ITF Junior Tennis championship here today.
While Yashwin capped his fairytale run upsetting second seed Indian Vraj Gohli 6-1, 6-4 and crowned Boy'schampion, second seeded Diya stamped her authroity with a 6-4, 6-0 win over 14th seed ParthasarathiArun Mundhe of Maharashtra, in an all Indian affair, to bag the Girl's title.
In the Doubles Final, Savitha Bhuvaneswaran and Diya Ramesh won the Girl's title and Aradhya Kshitijand Nikhil Kurapati won the Boys title.
Both the Singles finals saw intense competitive and intelligent tennis and the tennis loving spectatorsthoroughly enjoyed the evening.
