Imphal, Feb. 4 -- Veteran BJP leader Yumnam Khemchand Singh was on Wednesday sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Manipur.
Khemchand, a former Speaker of the state Assembly, was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor A K Bhalla, bringing the curtains down on the almost one year President's rule in the troubled North Eastern state,Hours before Khemchand's sweaaring in, President Droupadi Murmu formally revoked President's rule in the state.
