New Delhi, Sept. 20 -- Head of World Para Athletics (WPA) Paul Fitzgerald has noted the significant strides that India has made in para sports in the last decade and said that the upcoming IndianOil New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships in New Delhi will give further impetus to the growth of para sports in the country.
"The growth of Para athletics here is remarkable, reflected in the journey from two silver medals at the Doha 2015 World Championships to 17 medals, including six gold, at last year's Worlds in Kobe.
