Chennai, Feb. 6 -- With three heavyweights -- New Zealand, South Africa and Afghanistan -- in contention, the Group Dpromises more excitement in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup.

The Group D action will kick off with a match between New Zealand and Afghanistan on February eight morning.

This Group is also unique as it is the only group that featured no previous winners.

That is not to say it is lacking quality however, with two recent finalists in South Africa and New Zealand, as well as 2024semi-finalists Afghanistan in the mix in a group where matches will be played in Chennai, Ahmedabad and Delhi.
