Shimla, Jan. 31 -- A major fire incident was reported in the early hours of Saturday at Shagalta village under Kotkhai tehsil of Shimla district, causing extensive damage to a residential house. No loss of life was reported.
According to information received, Kotkhai police station was alerted by Bagi police post around 6:30 am about a fire that had broken out at the house of Rajneesh Okta, son of Mohi Ram Okta, a resident of Shagalta village under post office Bagi. The fire reportedly erupted around 2:30 am while the family was asleep.
