New Delhi, April 23 -- Member of Parliament from the Chandni Chowk parliamentary constituency in Delhi, Praveen Khandelwal on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, the party, and the entire opposition, over the defeat of the Women's reservation bill in Parliament.
Khandelwal while addressing a press conference here, said that this is not just the defeat of a Bill, but a betrayal of the rights, dignity and future of women in country.
He remarked that had the Bill been passed, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra might have emerged as a more powerful and influential leader within the grand old party.
