Patna, Jan. 21 -- Amid growing concerns over the safety of girl students in private hostels in Patna, the Bihar State Women's Commission has asked the District Magistrate (DM) of Patna to provide a comprehensive list of all girls' hostels operating in the district within a week.
The Commission said the list must include both registered and unregistered hostels.
In a letter to the District Magistrate, Chairperson of the Women's Commission Apsara put special emphasis on the security measures being adopted by hostel administrators.
