Lucknow, March 12 -- Emphasising that the well-being of women is central to the progress of families and society, medical experts and educators highlighted the importance of awareness, preventive care, and healthy lifestyles during a special discussion organised in Lucknow to mark International Women's Day on Thursday.

The programme, themed "Gift Better Health to Half the Population," was jointly organised by Avadh Girls' Degree College and PSI India. The event was chaired by Principal Dr. Bina Rai, with hundreds of students and faculty members attending the session.
