Ranchi, March 14 -- Senior leader and national spokesperson of the Indian National Congress, Supriya Shrinate, called upon women to face challenges with confidence and determination, saying ''they should turn the pallu on their forehead into a flag of victory''.
She was addressing a Progressive Women Felicitation Conference organised on the occasion of International Women's Day at Baridih Maidan in Bero block of Ranchi district.
Shrinate said the dream of development and prosperity cannot be achieved without the active participation of women. She noted that women play multiple roles in society as mothers, sisters, wives, friends, and partners, yet their contribution is often underestimated.
