Hyderabad, March 7 -- Telangana Panchayat Raj, Women and Child Welfare Minister Seethakka stated that women MLAs, ministers, and even IAS officers continue to face gender inequality in society.

Speaking as the chief guest at the workshop on the Women Empowerment Action Plan held at the National Institute for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises premises in Yousufguda on Friday, Seethakka emphasised the importance of gender equality in all fields.

Wishing all women a Happy International Women's Day, she said the occasion is being celebrated to ensure equal opportunities and wages for women across various sectors.
