New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- union Minister for Health and Family Welfare J P Nadda on Friday underlined the government's vision of women-led development, emphasising that women's empowerment is central to the country's inclusive growth and social transformation.

Nadda, who was addressing the Foundation Day programme of the National Commission for Women (NCW), reaffirmed centre's resolve to promote women's health, safety and dignity. He also said that the 34-year-long journey of the commission shows how institutions earn recognition, not just through legislation, but with their commitment and sustained action in addressing complex issues related to women.
