Sonbhadra, Jan. 3 -- A 26-year-old woman was found dead on a railway track near the Chaina Tola railway bridge in the Chopan police station area, police said on Saturday. Police suspect that she was run over by a train.
The deceased has been identified as Kalpati Devi, wife of Jayaswar Chero, a resident of Chaina Tola. According to police, she had gone towards the railway track for some work when the incident occurred on Friday. Her body was recovered from the track and sent for post-mortem examination to the district hospital.
