Chennai, June 19 -- In a tragic incident, the Women Musiri Revenue Tahsildar Aramuda Devasena was killed in a road accident at Mekkudi village near Srirangam on the Karur-Trichy
NH on Thursday.
The woman tahsildar was on an official visit to Trichy to attend a review meeting when the accident took place due following a tyre burst.
Police the driver of the official car in which she was travelling collided with a Tamil Nadu State Express Transport Corporation bus which was proceeding to Tiruppur from Trichy.
Following the collision, the car rolled and hit a stationary JPC vehicle which was parked on the roadside for repairs.
