Baghpat, Feb. 25 -- In a shocking incident at Sankrod village in Baghpat district of Uttar Pradesh, a man allegedly killed his sister-in-law by attacking her with bricks on Wednesday evening.
According to police sources, Naveen, a daily wage laborer and resident of the village, lives with his family. On Wednesday evening, while his wife Chanchal was busy with household chores, her brother-in-law, identified as Shaheen, suddenly attacked her with bricks. He allegedly struck her repeatedly, leading to her death on the spot.
After the attack, Shaheen reportedly jumped from the roof of the house in an apparent attempt to take his own life. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the district hospital by the police for treatment.
