Hazaribagh (Jharkhand), Sept. 30 -- A 44-year-old woman was killed and a minor girl injured in separate incidents of lightning strike in Hazaribagh district.
According to reports, the deceased, Jamila Khatoon, wife of Md. Kudush, was returning home after grazing goats in Dhanwar Panchayat under Barhi block when she was struck by lightning.
Family members rushed her to Barhi Sub-Divisional Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. The body will be sent for post-mortem before being handed over to the family.
