Kaithal, Feb. 23 -- In connection with a conspiracy and attempt-to-murder case in which a man was allegedly run over by a truck in the Siwan area, police have arrested a woman accused in the incident.

The accused, identified as Neelam, a resident of Raichandwala village in Jind district, was arrested by a team led by ASI Jagbir Singh of Siwan police station.

According to the police spokesperson, the case was registered on the complaint of Kirpal, a resident of village Pega, who works as a clerk at a liquor shop in Rajound. In his complaint, Kirpal stated that he had developed a relationship with Neelam, and the two were living together in a rented accommodation in Rajound.
