Bhadravathi, Feb. 21 -- A shocking double suicide tragedy has rocked the police community in Karnataka, where a woman allegedly ended her life six days after her husband, a police constable of the Karnataka State Reserve Police, committed suicide, police said on Saturday.
The incident occurred in Hosa Siddapura village of Bhadravathi taluk. The deceased has been identified as Swati, wife of KSRP constable Jagdish.
Police said Jagdish had committed suicide on February 14. Family members alleged that Jagdish was struggling with alcoholism and frequently had domestic disputes with his wife, children, and mother while under the influence of alcohol.
