Mumbai, Jan. 29 -- A tragic incident unfolded in the Dadar area of central Mumbai, where a woman named Kamla Keshav Agnihotri, reportedly struggling with anxiety and depression, took her own life by jumping from the 7th floor of her residential building, an official said here on Thursday.
The police suspect depression was the driving factor behind her decision.
In a statement issued to the police, the victim's husband, Keshav Agnihotri, revealed that his wife had been suffering from severe anxiety and depression for a significant period. He further stated that an appointment had been scheduled with a doctor in Mahim on Wednesday for her treatment, the very day the tragedy occurred.
