Pratapgarh (UP), Oct. 21 -- A 48-year-old woman and her grandson were killed, and another one was seriously injured when a balcony collapsed while they were cleaning their house in the Kotwali Dehat area of Pratapgarh district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here today.
Police sources said that Manju Mishra, a resident of Rampur Mushtarka, was cleaning outside the house on Monday evening. "Her 10-year-old grandson, Ayush Mishra, and eight-year-old Shivansh Mishra were sitting nearby," they said.
Police sources said that the trio were buried under the debris when its balcony suddenly collapsed. "Hearing the noise, family members raised an alarm, and villagers rushed to the scene and pulled them out," they said.
