Shimla, March 17 -- Leader of Opposition Jai Ram Thakur on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the state government, alleging corruption, deteriorating law and order and financial mismanagement, and claimed that an atmosphere of distrust had developed across the state against the government and the Chief Minister.
Speaking to the press in Shimla on Tuesday, the former Chief Minister said the upcoming Assembly session would be highly challenging for the government.
He stated that the opposition had submitted rule-bound notices on several issues including stalled development works, poor law and order situation and other matters concerning public interest, and alleged that the government was not in a position to provide satisfactory answers....
